Falls Church Feeds the World

You are invited to “Falls Church Feeds the World with Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now)” where members of our community will work together to assemble and package 30,000+ meals to combat hunger around the world. Children aged 4 and older can help with meal packaging.


There also will be a children’s festival of games and fun activities that will teach children about food insecurity in our community and the world.

Join Us!


A BIG thank you to all the volunteers, participants, and supports from Sunday, Sept 11th's Falls Church Feeds the World event. We had a great time and are so pleased with the community involvement in making a difference and stopping hunger. Over 30,000 meals were packaged.

Children's Activities


During the Rise Against Hunger meal packing event (from 1pm - 4pm) there will be a children's meal packing event through Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) and a Mad Science Show (for ages 3-11) taking downstairs in the fellowship hall.

Preschoolers/Kindergartners:
   1:10pm Food-Related Service Project
   1:50pm Mad Science Show (30 mins)

Elementary Age (1st-6th grade):
   2:40pm Food-Related Service Project
   3:20pm Mad Science Show (30 mins)

Child Care

Child care will be provided at no cost for children aged 3 and younger. Food and beverages will be provided to participants at no cost during the event.
